Made by Isla
[Ceramics]
Made by Isla
This project is a fictitious brand from @briefclub's weekly challenge. Made by Isla are hand-painted ceramics made with the utmost care. For this project, I had a fairly short period of time, less than a week. I'm delighted with the end result, though.

Joli Kombucha
Joli
[Kombucha]
It was important to respect the nature of the product, its very short list of ingredients and its environmentally-friendly manufacturing process.
So I naturally opted for a minimalist typeface, with soft, soothing curves.
This project came to me from a client who wanted very minimalist branding for his 100% French kombucha brand, echoing the authenticity of his product.

Logo development
The primary logo has been designed to make an impact, using bold sans-serif typography for easy reading and eye-catching.

Graphic assets
The graphic elements have been designed using organic shapes reminiscent of the concept of kombucha (bacteria). They contrast with the minimalist, raw logo.

Fondation polaire
Queen Elisabeth Polar Foundation
Based on its scientific research and studies at the poles, the foundation's main objective is to inform and raise awareness among the public and the authorities about climate change and its consequences.

The particularly minimalist design of this poster was conceived as part of the rebranding of the Queen Elisabeth Polar Foundation.
I was lucky enough to be able to work completely independently on this project.
As a result, I was free to explore all aspects of editorial design.
The result is this hierarchy of text, a reversed reading direction and the image as the main subject, bringing the conference topic to the fore.

The Social Club
The Social Club
[Brussels]
The Social Club is a meeting place for European Commission staff in Brussels. It is a restaurant and hosts talks, comedy shows and various events.
In addition to the formality of this sector of activity, my client wanted a young and dynamic brand image. So I opted for a minimalist branding while adding a ‘marker’ type logo that gives the character of the space a more accessible feel.

Iconography
A set of hand-drawn icons has been developed to enhance the visuals and communication on the establishment's networks. It is available in the colours of the brand's palette and can be adapted to any format.

Color palette
The colour palette has been designed to reflect the brand's personality. It is sober, warm and clean. It oscillates between warm and cool shades, to emphasise specific elements.

COLOR USAGE

Typography
Two typefaces have been chosen. One is a very modern, sans-serif typeface that echoes the feeling of youth. The second, with a serif, conveys a sense of quality, privilege and class.

TYPE USAGE

The Type Deck
[Learning card deck]
The Type Deck
"The Type Deck" is a classic card game: 52 cards, colours and numbers. But it offers a dual function. 52 cards, 52 of the most popular typefaces and their history. So it's fun AND educational.

The design of the cards and their box is very minimalist. Particular attention has been paid to the information they contain.
